Redevelopment eyed for Trail’s Central School building

A potential new lease on life for the old Central school in Trail.

City council gave three readings to a zoning amendment bylaw which would allow the building to be redeveloped.

Councillor Sandy Santori says the city has heard a proposal to add 10 new suites in the building while retaining three existing apartments.

Some residents have expressed concerns about parking and unsavory tenants.
