Trail Regional Airport accommodated over 20,000 passengers last year.
Airport committee chair Kevin Jolly is pleased with the increase.
Jolly says improvements like lower approach limits for landings and the soon-to-be built terminal building should help passenger numbers continue to climb.
He adds weather hasn’t been as big a challenge this winter as in years past.
