It was a rough weekend of BCHL action for the Trail Smoke Eaters.
On Friday in Trail they fell to the Cowichan Valley Capitals 4-3 in overtime.
Former Smokie Max Newton had the game winning goal.
In Vernon sSturday they were thumped 6-2 by the Vipers.
The Smokies are third in the Interior Division.
