The Green Party has opened nominations in the Kootenay West riding.
The period is for a minimum of two weeks although there is no set deadline.
At least one person has expressed interest in running in May’s provincial election.
The party didn’t have a candidate in the riding in 2013.
Kim Charlesworth is running in Nelson-Creston.
The nomination period hasn’t begun in Boundary-Similkameen.
