Columbia Basin Trust staff struggle to cope with CEO’s passing

Staff at the Columbia Basin Trust are having a tough time following the sudden death of CEO Neil Muth.

Director Larry Binks says Muth’s tragic loss has had a profound effect on them.

Binks is furious that news of Muth’s passing appeared on social media before the Trust announced it.

The Regional District of Central Kootenay held a moment of silence for Muth Thursday.

They also agreed to put up $5,000 a year for a scholarship in his name.
