Trail city council has decided to withdraw from the East End Economic Development Service.
Mayor Mike Martin expects a backlash from neighbouring communities.
He says Trail’s decision to withdraw will likely spell the end of the service.
Martin adds council’s main issue with the service was its annual $77,000 fee.
