Allan Davies of Davies Sales and Service has retired after 61 years.
We asked if he misses handling the community’s residential waste collection service.
He says he plans to fill his spare time visiting relatives, camping and fishing.
He’ll also keep busy with projects at home.
Alpine Disposal and Recycling is now handling collections in Rossland.
