A local initiative which supports projects that benefit our ecosystem is taking applications for potential funding.
The Waneta Expanstion Limited Partnership allocates $50,000 for these projects annually.
Michael Hounjet with the Waneta Terestrial Compensation Program says lots of projects could qualify for funds.
Deadline for submissions is January 31, 2017.
