Assessments to gauge the damage are still ongoing after a fire was discovered in the HVAC system at Mount Sentinel School Friday.
It was spotted around 10:00 am and students were evacuated.
Kootenay Lake School District superintendent Jeff Jones says some students were actually allowed back in the building Friday afternoon.
Classes ran on their normal schedule yesterday.
