The deadline is today for those who want to run in the by election in Castlegar to fill a vacancy on city council.
You must have your nomination packages in by 4 p.m.
Residents get a chance to hear from those who are running in an all candidates forum Oct. 12 at the Recreation Complex from 7 to 9 p.m..
The by election is Oct. 29.
There will be advanced polling opportunities at the community forum Oct. 18 and 19.
