A man’s life may have been saved thanks to fast-acting members of the Castlegar RCMP and an Automated External Defibrillator.
Cpl. Dan Moskaluk says on Saturday morning officers were approached near the detachment by citizens concerned about an unconscious man.
The machine was used by one officer while another preformed CPR.
The man was taken to Kelowna hospital and is said to be in stable condition.
