The Trail Smoke Eaters are mourning the death of a former player.
Casey shade was on the team from 2005 to 2008 and scored 129 points in 165 games.
He later played college hockey in Boston.
He died September 5 in Fairbanks at age 29 but there’s no word on the cause.
