In BCHL action the Trail Smoke Eaters were swept by the Merritt Centennials in a home and home series over the weekend.
On Friday Trail fell on the road 5-3.
Then on Saturday at home it was a 3-2 setback to the Cents.
Trail forward Ross Armour kept the game close with an early power play goal.
The Smokies are on the road until October 5.
