An upgrade is coming to the Glade ferry terminals.
District highways manager Hugh Eberle says ramps on both sides of the Kootenay River will be improved to accommodate the new ferry being built.
The new ramps should also improve operations when water levels are low or high.
The new ferry is under construction in Nakusp and will be in service next year.
