The City Of Castlegar will begin the process to fill the vacant seat on city council left by the unexpected passing of Kevin Chernoff in May.
The city is set to announce a Chief Election Officer well as deputy officers for the upcoming by-election at tonight’s council meeting.
October 29th has been identified as the date residents will hit the polls.
