A local group is bringing a refugee family to Castlegar.
Julie Leffelaar with the Castlegar Refugee Project says they’re bringing in a family from Burma.
Leffelaar isn’t sure exactly when the family is arriving.
She says the group tried to bring a family in from the Middle East but would’ve had to wait too long for that to happen.
She adds they’re raising funds to help another family next year.
