A happy end to a search for a missing man in Salmo.
South Columbia Search And Rescue responded to a call Saturday morning around 1:00 for a missing man after he and another man fell into Erie Creek.
One of them escaped the water but the other was swept downstream.
Search And Rescue deployed their swiftwater teams to perform a nighttime search.
But at 3:15 am the search ended when the missing man and his father reported to the command post.
Nobody was hurt.
