The Castlegar Hospice Society is hosting a renowned expert on palliative care tonight.
University Of Manitoba Professor Dr. Harvey Chochinov speaks at the community complex at 7.
He’ll discuss his research into the emotional and psychological needs of the dying and their families.
Chochinov also chaired a committee on doctor-assisted suicide that reported to the Supreme Court Of Canada.
He spent six months travelling across the world studying the issue.
