Creston is hoping to host the 2017 Cyclone Taylor Cup.
The Creston Valley Thunder Cats have put in a bid for the BC Provincial Junior B Hockey Championship tournament.
Board President, Mike Moore says it’s an excellent opportunity for the entire community.
The tourney sees the three different champions from other Junior B Leagues in the province and the host community competing for the cup.
Moore says between the calibre of hockey and Thunder Cats guaranteed appearance, it will be four days of great competitive hockey .
The host community will be announced at the end of April.
