Creston link to Golden theft

A Creston connection to a weekend vehicle and property theft in Golden.

Creston Valley RCMP say a stolen truck and trailer were recovered Sunday on Helen Street.

A skid steer that was also stolen is still missing.

Police are conducting fingerprint and DNA analysis.

And RCMP seized two dogs a 10th Ave North residence in Creston on March 14th.

Neighbors had called in twice to complain of excessive barking.

RCMP found the dogs had no food or water and couldn’t locate the owner so took them to a local shelter.

The SPCA will now follow up.
