Large-scale emergency exercise at Teck Trail

There will be several emergency vehicles and a road closure outside of Teck Trail Operations on Tuesday.

It’s all part of a large scale mock emergency exercise hosted by the company and involving key mutual aid partners.

Spokesperson Catherine Adair says RCMP, ambulance, Fortis, Red Cross, school district and various government ministries will be involved.

Bingay Road from Whitman Way to Highway 22 will be closed during the 4 hour operation – from 8 till noon.
