A new Director of Operations has been hired at the Lower Kootenay Band.
Retired Creston lawyer Heather Suttie had been filling in since late October and officially moved into the position in early February.
Chief Jason Louie says Suttie is well suited for the role.
Louie says Suttie was also the Electoral Officer for the last Band elections.
The Director of Operations oversees the staff of the Lower Kootenay Band and works alongside the band administration.
