Plaque for Trail bridge light sponsors

The city of Trail is thanking everyone who helped make the Victoria Street bridge lighting project happen.

Andrea Jolly – Communication and Events Coordinator- says there were 10 major sponsors who contributed to the project as well as 63 individual buy-a-light sponsors who purchased an LED light which will be installed on the bridge.

This added up to around $180,000 in sponsorship for the plus $500,000 dollar project.

Jolly says they will be honoured with a “sponsor recognition piece”.

The monument will cost just over $5,900 .
