The future of the greenhouses at the College of the Rockies Creston campus is in question.
The power to the greenhouses has been temporarily shut down after routine maintenance showed they need repair.
Leah Bradish, Director of Regional Campus Operations says an upcoming consultation session will determine how the college will proceed.
Bradish says it comes down to the need to drive the facility’s investment by programming.
A number of Creston-area community groups use the greenhouses regularly.
