Easy target thefts in Trail

Some people in the Greater Trail area are making it far too easy for criminals to steal stuff .

That’s the message from RCMP after a rash of thefts from unlocked vehicles. Police received three reports from the Miral Heights area over the weekend.

And three suspicious males were spotted wearing headlamps in someone’s yard late Friday night in Warfield. When the complainant yelled at them, they left.

Police say thieves are looking for a quick and easy way to make money and unlocked vehicles are an easy target.

If you notice anything suspicious you should report it to the RCMP.
