Wi-Fi hot spots coming soon to Castlegar

87 Wi-Fi hot spots will be going up around the City of Castlegar.

Council has signed the Shaw Communications Facilities Access Agreement that will see the service set up in places like Millennium and Kinsmen Parks, City Hall and the downtown area.

The service will be free for all residents – not just Shaw customers.

The five year agreement will cost the City $750 a year.
