AGLG process an unexpected drain on resources: Rossland

Among other things the AGLG report recommends Rossland strengthen its senior management leadership and capacity and strengthen the oversight of council.

In a written statement, the City says it has now incorporated the few recommendations into its action plan.

It also states the City did not expect the huge drain on resources the audit process would have and citizens need to be informed of the costs associated with the process compared with the benefits received.

Mayor Greg Granstrom is awaiting a formal response from the BC Mayors Caucus before he comments.
