Local administrators handling student supervision

Some good aspects but there are also challenges.

That’s the sense from the principal of Nelson’s Trafalgar Middle school as the phase one job action by teachers continues.

Carol-Ann Leidloff says she’s being helped out by senior administrators from the board office and some EA’s for the extra supervision duties.

Leidloff says the system they’ve come up with for supervising students is working at her school for the moment.

Teachers are not offering any supervision outside of regular class times.

The local school district has taken no decision on cancelling recess as some other districts have.
