Slater’s family slams premier

The family of a former Boundary MLA who died this week is criticizing the premier for announcing his death.

John Slater’s sister writes on The Georgia Straight‘s website that Christy Clark’s statement was issued without their consent.

She says she phoned the office of current MLA Linda Larson asking that the announcement be postponed.

The cause of death has not been released.
