Charge laid in Creston homicide

A 27-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder following a homicide in Creston.

Parker Hills was arrested on Thursday, July 23, after Creston RCMP officers found an unresponsive man shortly after 2 a.m. near Canyon Street and 12th Avenue. The man was pronounced dead at the scene and investigators determined the death was suspicious.

The Southeast District Major Crime Unit took over the investigation and later identified the victim as Creston resident Larry John Isaac. Police are asking anyone who saw Isaac before the incident or who has information that could assist the investigation to contact investigators.
