Castlegar is working to get signage up on Zuckerberg Island to offer more education on the history of the area.
This as the Heritage Society outlined the need for improved interactive pieces on the Island in their plans for this year.

McIntosh says once a summer position is filled for the Chapel House – the employee can begin applying for grants to design and create the signage.
The Society is stressing the need to better promote tourists sites around Castlegar.
