Big media mileage for Nelson

Our region’s main tourism organisation is delighted with the mileage they’re receiving from the new Maclean’s magazine article.

The Queen City is featured as one of Canada’s Top 10 places you must see.

Great photography and a video accompanies the piece online.

Nelson Kootenay Lake Tourism Executive Director Diana Ducs says it’s hard to put a value on this sort of publicity but it’s probably $100,000 minimum.

 

She’ll link the article to other online marketing she’s doing and hopes we’ll see some positive results in terms of visitation this spring and summer.
