He must have run out of “Clam”
A 42-year-old Fruitvale man apologized to the RCMP officer investigating a report of a disturbance outside a Main St business in the village.
He was told to leave the establishment and police say would-be customers witnessed his vigorous early-afternoon protests and called Trail RCMP.
The man told the responding officer he went to the store to buy Clamato juice.
The officer detected alcohol and took the tipsy protester home to his dad.
