Salmo Village water chlorination planned

Salmo residents are being asked to refrain from using sprinklers, washing machines or any extra water usage from 10pm Thursday, May 8 to 4am Friday, May 9, as the village conducts it’s water system chlorination.

Anyone who may have an adverse reaction to chlorine should take appropriate precautions ahead of time.

The Village of Salmo says the chlorine smell may resonate in the water for 5-7 days following the disinfection process and will only impact residents connected to Salmo’s water system.
