RDCK calls on Province for mental health resources

Regional communities are coming together to call on the province for more funding to tackle mental health issues.

The RDCK will put forward a resolution at an upcoming convention for our association of regional governments.

Castlegar Mayor Lawrence Chernoff says we just don’t have the resources to deal with the issue – that shouldn’t land on the plate of police.
