Gas stolen near Fruitvale

Trail RCMP are looking for red and while Ford trucks in the theft of 800 litres of gas stolen from a commercial tank near Fruitvale.

Police say the heists happened just before 2am on April 4th, just before 11pm on April 6th and at about 10am last Wednesday.

A man with his face covered, dressed in full camouflage was caught on video.

If you have any information about who committed this theft, or the identity of the man, or whereabout of the trucks, please contact the Trail Detachment at 250-364-2566 to speak to an investigator.

“Please report any suspicious activity involving this man or his trucks in the Fruitvale area. Trail RCMP suspects that thefts will continue until he is caught,” said Sgt. Mike Wicentowich.
