Trail amends its Rec fees

When it comes to Recreation – the City of Trail is changing its focus on fees from the activity to the venue.

The amendments are coming after the Beaver Valley and Warfield pulled out of shared services.

Parks and Recreation Director Trisha Davison says the current by law gives a fee for a pass in relation to a given sport – which was difficult to administer and confusing for users.

In this case with a sports pass renting the Ice at the Memorial Centre would be 242 dollars, 347 for the Aquatic Centre and 222 for any parks or fields.
