Montrose man charge upgraded to first degree murder

A Montrose man accused of murdering his wife has had his charge upgraded to first-degree murder.

The 46 year-old appeared in court on Thursday, February 6, facing a charge connected with the death of his estranged wife.

The man remains in custody and will reappear on court early March.

A publication ban is in effect.
