Residents urged to sign up for online billing during Canada Post Strike

Local council are asking the community to sign up for online billing in the wake of the Canada Post strike.

Postal service across the country has been significantly impacted by strike action against Canada Post, initiated on November 15 by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers. At this time, the delivery of socio-economic cheques is the only service being provided by Canada Post.

As a result, councils have issued communication to residents about where they can access and pay their bills while the strike is in place.

Please speak with your local council for information to sign up for online services.
