Teck Trail Operations to Stage Joint Emergency Response Exercise

Be prepared for an increase in emergency response vehicles in Trail tomorrow, Thursday September 19, as Teck Operations stages an emergency response exercise from 7am to 12pm at its facility.

This exercise is a training opportunity for Teck and mutual aid partners, including the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary Emergency Program partners, Kootenay Boundary Regional Fire Rescue, RCMP, and Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital.

The exercise is being coordinated with the assistance of a consulting firm specializing in crisis management, and will enhance mutual preparedness in partnerships within the community.
