Public Information Session for residents impacted by the Ponderosa and Mulvey Creek wildfires

Residents impacted by the Ponderosa and Mulvey Creek wildfires are invited to attend a public information session on Wednesday, July 24, at 6 pm.

Information on the Ponderosa and Mulvey Creek wildfires will be provided by from the BC Wildfire Service and RDCK Emergency Operations Centre.

There will also be an opportunity for residents to ask questions.

The public information session will take place:

Date: Wednesday July 24, 2024
Time: 6:00 pm
Location: Winlaw Elementary School gymnasium, 5604 Winlaw Bridge Rd, Winlaw BC.

For those residents unable to attend in person, an option to view the meeting online or by phone will be available. For more information visit the RDCK website.

This public information session is strictly for those residents in Electoral Area H and the Village of Slocan impacted by the Ponderosa and Mulvey Creek wildfires.

Regional District Central Kootenay (RDCK) is the primary source of information for evacuation orders and evacuation alerts.
