How to move BC to $15 minimum wage?

It’s not the question of “if” minimum wage should be higher in BC, but how can that be done to benefit everyone.

This from Nelson-Creston MLA Michelle Mungall after a meeting with the Nelson Chamber of Commerce this week.

Mungall says both sides agreed there are many positives to higher pay in the province.

The BC New Democrat says one of the ideas brought up was a phased in approach for different size businesses.

The B.C Federation of Labour recently launched a “Fight for 15” campaign to increase the minimum wage from $10.25 an hour.
