Concerns were expressed during the public during question period at Monday night’s council meeting that the city was using taxpayer’s money to sue potential taxpayers.

Malcolm says the city would pay for legal action to protect any councillor who is under attack in their functions as a member of council.

*The city said the defamatory comments had been taken down since the litigation letters were sent out. However some comments remain online as their authors contest they are not defamatory.
