UPDATED: Watermain break in Rossland disrupts service in multiple areas

Update at 2:15 p.m: 

Repairs on the City of Rossland’s watermain break are nearly complete. Public Works is advising residents to run their taps to clear out airpockets as there may be some air in the lines.

A water main break in the City of Rossland has interrupted service in the Blackbear, Museum, and Trailer Park area.

The City couldn’t provide details on what happened or a timeline on when service will be restored, but a media release sent out around 8:00 a.m. stated that public works is on the scene working to reinstate services as soon as possible.
