Apartment fire in Trail

The Kootenay Boundary Regional Fire Rescue service (KBRFR) responded to reports on an apartment suite on fire in Trail on Friday, June 14.

Crews were called to the scene of the blaze just after 10:30am and were able to knock the fire down quickly with damaged contained to the deck, while the rest of the suite sustained minor smoke damage.

The fire was deemed under control just after 11am.

The cause of the fire is unknown, and an investigation is underway.
