Work is now underway to improve the parking lot entrance apron at the Trail Memorial Centre (TMC), and is expected to be completed by Friday, June 7.
The Victoria Street parking lot entrance will be closed for the duration of the project. Parking lot access will be from Pine Avenue, with exiting vehicles encouraged to drive around the facility.
Additionally, the two sidewalk letdowns and crossing points will be unavailable for pedestrians. Pedestrian traffic is encouraged to cross at Pine Avenue or Bay Avenue until the parking lot entrance is reopened.
Crews and equipment will be on site, and community members are advised to use extra caution while in the parking lot.
