McHappy Day Today

If you ever needed an excuse to go to McDonalds, here it is. Today, May 8, is McHappy Day.

McHappy Day is a one-day fundraiser organized by McDonald’s Canada where a portion of proceeds from all food and beverage menu items go to Ronald McDonald Houses and other local children’s charities.

The funds raised go directly towards providing essential support to families staying at the houses across Canada including accommodations, food, mental health, and so much more while their child is receiving medical treatment.

And to make the day even more fun, our Vista Radio hosts will on location today:
Trent in Castlegar from 1oam to 12pm
Kimi in Cranbrook from 11pm to 1pm
Johanna in Trail from 1pm to 3pm

Something going on in your part of the Kootenays you think people should know about? Send us a news tip by emailing [email protected].
