Catlegar city council has recognized the Castlegar-Robson Royal Canadian Legion Branch 170 on its 80th anniversary.
“It is community groups such as the Legion that keep a community going and healthy,” Mayor Maria McFaddin said in presenting Legion representatives with a certificate this month.
“We are so appreciative of those groups that choose to put their volunteer time in to support and encourage our community.”
