No flight cancellations in Castlegar in October

Every flight made it in and out of the West Kootenay Regional Airport last month.

However, airport manager Maciej Habrych told city council this week November is “not off to a great start” thanks to the weather.

October’s perfect record followed a September in which only one flight was cancelled.

Passenger loads last month were about 68 per cent coming and going, Habrych said.
