A precautionary water quality advisory for the City of Castlegar issued Friday has been rescinded.
The city says this decision was made in collaboration with Interior Health now that turbidity levels have improved to within acceptable limits. This was determined following monitoring and assessment of the water turbidity levels over the weekend.
The advisory was put in place due to unusually low water on Lower Arrow Lake, which is the city’s source of drinking water.
